Delhi wakes up to dense fog, chill; temperatures dips to 7°C

NEW DELHI: Delhi experienced severe cold wave conditions on Friday with thick fog blanketing the city and temperatures falling to 7 degrees Celsius, according to IMD reports.
Residents sought shelter in night homes across various locations, including the Yamuna Bazar area and New Delhi Railway Station, to escape the harsh weather conditions.
The city's air quality remained concerning, with the AQI reaching 434 at 8am, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), placing it in the 'severe' category.
