Google Revises Search Result Display in Europe Amid Regulatory Scrutiny: Responding to complaints from smaller rivals and EU regulators, the tech giant has introduced additional changes to address concerns over alleged preferential treatment of its services, potentially breaching the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Oliver Bethell, Google's Director of Legal, stated, 'Over the past year, we’ve implemented over 20 modifications to Google Search, including new formats and dedicated units to enhance visibility for comparison sites in categories like flights, hotels, and shopping.' However, he acknowledged, 'Despite these efforts, comparison sites continue to push for further adjustments.'
